This website informs the readers of the local and global weather systems currently occurring and forecasts up and coming events.  I like it because not only does it give you the forecast that they predict but they also give you the radar so you can personally see how the storms are moving and how long they are going to be in an area.  This is important because the longer a severe storm is in an area the more destruction it will likely cause.

This website gives you information and graphs on flooding in any area of interest.  This particular website was helpful during the flooding in the area because we were able to see when the peak had occurred and the prediction of when the water level would decrease.  It was an interesting event that I wanted to know all the information that I could, and this website gave me more information that I did not know prior to the flooding event.

WEAU gives you information on current and local weather along with forecasting up and coming events.  I really liked this website when the flooding was occurring.  Since the issue was very previlent in this area they had continual breaking news on the event.

This website shows you all the earthquakes that have occurred globally in the past week.  It also illistrates how large they were.  This is a very helpful starting website because if I see a large earthquake on there then I can research is straight away and find more information on it.  Also, this website has shown me that there are earthquakes occurring all the time which I never knew since I have always lived in Wisconsin with no quakes.

CNN is a cable news network that delivers the world's most breaking news and informationg.  I really like this website because not only does it give you information about the events that occur world wide but they also include videos from the event.  Watching videos of the event occurring really gives the viewers an idea of what the people in that area are going through.

This website by NASA was a great starting point for figuring out different hazard events that occurred around the world.  It gave a brief overview of the hazard and then I was able to research more on the topic.  I really liked that it had all different kinda of hazards and they had them range from different countries all around the world.
